From August 23 to August 30, 2016, Kathleen Loock was Visiting Scholar at Columbia University. During her stay, she was working on her project “Retrospective Serialization: Remaking as a Method of Cinematic Self-Historicizing” and collaborating with her host Rob King.

Her research trip was combined with a visit to the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

This visiting scholarship is made possible by the Research Unit’s Mentorship Program—an equal opportunity measure according to the DFG’s Research-Oriented Standards on Gender Equality.
