Britta Lesniak

Britta Lesniak, born 1988, studied Musicology, Social and Cultural Anthropology and German Philology at the University of Göttingen. In 2013 she completed her studies with a Master’s thesis on the musical loyalty of a generation of members of the drum ‘n’ bass-scene in Mannheim, Germany.

Britta Lesniak is an associate member of the Popular Seriality Research Unit. At the Göttingen Department of Musicology she is working on her dissertation entitled “Aural Serialization: The Music of Hindi dharmic TV-Serials.”
