Daniel Stein

Daniel Stein is Professor of North American Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Siegen. He is the author of Music Is My Life: Louis Armstrong, Autobiography, and American Jazz and co-editor of Transnational Perspectives on Graphic Narratives: Comics at the Crossroads and From Comic Strips to Graphic Novels: Contributions to the Theory and History of Graphic Narrative. He is also the recipient of the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Prize awarded by the German Research Foundation and the Federal Minstry of Education and Research (2013).
